1.You PM me your song choice of a collective Luv mix and another for the AntiLuv mix.
2. All folks who participate will get a copy snail mailed if they provide me with their address.
3. You may send me a song choice for each mix or just for one of the mixes.
4. The list(s) will remain private until everyone receives their copy. We will then each cast one vote for best song per mix and the person who picked it wins a prize which I will mail them.
5. Please post a public "I'm in" message in this thread BUT: DO NOT POST YOUR SONG CHOICE PUBLICLY!!!!
If I do not have your choice or cannot find your choice of song I will PM you to discuss our options.
CD mixes are tricky things as space is determined by mp3 size. So the sooner you announce your intent in this thread the more likely you are to get on the mix.
Any song listed openly in this thread WILL NOT go on the list.
I reserve the right to reject any song that contains any material generally considered offensive by Barbelith standards which I will happily discuss with the person suggesting it and in this thread if we can't agree. Cuss words aren't the issue so you should not particpate if hearing naughty language offends you.
All genres of music are welcome but I ask that this be a slow-food thoughtful choice for love in all of its forms and heartbreak (sexy/soulful/sad/angry/joyous etc).
If I don't understand why you are suggesting a song for a list I'll ask you to post your explination in this thread so everyone can go 'oooh you're so clevah!'.

The luv mix is working a soft magic building up to 'get nekked YOU FREAK YOU!!'
Though the antiluv mix is currently only abled to be handled with special radiation tongs, it is very um, effective. I suspect it will be bootlegged and used to reduce certain world leaders to gibbering husks.
I am still accepting tracks from those who have not already chimed in. Each of you get 1 per mix.
What's happening behind the scenes is as more mp3's are offered I exchange them for an mp3 I have slapped in to keep the groove going. It's a careful balance as mp3's are all different footprints on a CD. That's why I can say:
Ok I'm waiting for a few of the kids to get me mp3's then we shall go directly to the mechanics of the thing.

The beauty of the project is the moment you hold the physical mix in your hands. So I'm not big on setting up a download site except as a last resort for someone who has had their CD go bye-bye due to postal antics.
I would love to get treats back in the mail from those who have offered but don't worry I'm just happy to be making the mixes with you.
I think they kick serious ass and we will all get a chance to hear some new tunes.
