Given that we're holding out on the voting for these, and we should talk about SOMETHING, how's about suggesting ideas for future mixes, if we all think this was a neat idea?

I'll volunteer for "FEAR/BEAUTY" mixes, if anyone's up for it.

i know it's pretty late in the game to propose such a thing, but the early votes have me thinking. if we have 17-ish votes for 17 different things, it seems that a clear winner might not result. might we stave off a week plurality with something in the way of each casting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place votes, which are weighted (1/.5/.25 or 1, 2/3, and 1/3, just for instance)? my gut is telling me it just seems a bit more fair/representative, but my gut could be wrong. opinions?

I was thinking maybe we could have a "wildcard" vote, that has equal weight with the other two. Hmm...dunno though...

You guys are over looking the fact that I've plopped a good number of songs into the mix that are not eligble to win because they are mine.

So you still vote not knowing which songs those are. Potentially this could mean I win and get a happy joyous feeling too and then give the prize to the runner up.

Trust me I've done this before with other groups. It will work out fine as long as everyone votes.
