The search for the correct sized Mystique icon

Here's a quickie. I'm trying to get myself a new LJ icon, and its dimensions need to be less than 100 x 100.

This is close, but not quite small enough. Since I don't have an image editor or webspace at the moment, I need an icon that fits these size qualifications.

Help?

(And I won't be using anyone's webspace up. The icon gets uploaded from the site to LJ)

Two things.

1). I recommend that you download Irfanview . It's a freeware graphics viewer that lets you resize images and do a bunch of other nifty things. For a program that can fit on a disk, it's pretty versatile.

2). That image looks kind of funny when you shrink it down to 100x100.

Much better if you just cropped it...

Shrinking an image that's 91 x 131 into 100 x 100 is just going to warp the image. You could maintain the aspect ratio and shrink to 61 x 100, but then I'm assuming it won't look right for whatever you need it for. Cropping may be the answer...

So who's gonna help me crop?

Livejournal images don't have to be exactly 100x100.

While it's a bit small, the image shrunk down to 61x88, which preserves the aspect ratio looks pretty good after you sharpen it.

Thanks. You rule. You know that, right? I'm thinking about cropping down from her boobies.

Err, I mean can you crop the first image down from her boobies? I think that will work. Not too small, yet fitting into their correct image dimensions.

I haven't done much cropping so I'm sure someone else may be able to do a better job, but here's a picture that's 86x99

I'm supposed to be drawing three pigs in various sports poses today. Thanks for the oppurtunity to procrastinate, Rage.

I have a sudden divine inspiration to hug you guys. I guess this is where "huggles" originated from. That divine inspiration I am feeling.
