Housing in California

I know it's a longshot, and I think making the Conversation into the Classifieds is in very poor taste, but I dunno where else to say, "SWM, 26, non-smoker, practitioner of ceremonial magick".

I found out today that my apartment has been sold out from under me--I knew it was happening, but I didn't expect it to sell so soon. So, anyone in Southern California (or maybe Northern) looking for a roommate, have a room for rent, know of a shed somewhere, etc.?

I may be looking for a roommate in LA too, if I can't get student housing for graduate school.

well.. the one bedroom apt in the 4plex I live in is about to be vacated...
that's if your interested in living in Oakland (east [S.F.] bay) California... & will to handle such prices, couldn't be worse than L.A. could it?

it might be affordable if you came in with a roomate I guess, pretty crowded though... jeese, I've only just moved in a couple of month ago, so the memories of the Home Hunt are still fresh... Good luck.
