The Annotated Mix Tape

I just did a web search on "Sensational" (lo-fi hip-hop "disco lights") and found this.

I think it's an excellent idea.

We were doing something similar with the round-robin mixes, but I was wondering if anyone had sides or mixtapes where every track has a little something going on in it. Every song *works*, right, and works together.

I like that.

So, what's your favorite?

I haven't done anything like this, but I would really like to give it a shot. Are you interested, Grant? I'd love to get one from you especially...

Well, you're top of the list for the mixage when I finally get set up for that. Damn, I sound like a stuck record. And I'd love to annotate it, even online.

I was hoping to indulge in semi-forgotten favorites, here, though. Older tapes, that sort of thing.

I've got some, but they're not handy right now.

I am awed to discover that there is actually a "regular mixtape magazine". And I thought I had it bad..
