I'm sure there have been a shitload of threads on them, but I just saw them live!

I rock they rock I rock they rock yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes

SFA is the best band ever.

That is all. I will give you a list of reasons if you must have them, though the list will be rather long, I'm afraid.

That's nothing. I've been on stage with them, dressed as a Super Furry Animal.

I got high with Mr Jones.

But did the lead singer give you a very odd analogy about melting ice cubes when you asked him about absolute truths?

Oh yeah? Well, I saw them on Conan O'Brien. So, like, I totally rock.

Maybe it's my complete ignorance, but they strike me as (for lack of a better term) the "real" counterpart of The Gorillaz. It might just be because I saw a photo of them in a buggy and reminded me of the Gorillaz cover art.. Who knows, I sure don't....

Despite liking them a lot, I've somehow failed to see them live or buy any of their records except 'Radiator' on about a million seperate occasions..

which is mad really, because I do really like them..

nah, he didn't talk about ice cubes. He started to tell me all about the "international sign of protest" - the raised fist, apparently - in Welsh.

Veeeeery sloooooowly.

I don't speak Welsh (well, not enough to follow him). A touch embarassing, when I told him after five minutes or so I hadn't understood a word he had said...

Gruff is a bit of a weird stoned dude, all in all. was the ice cube thing about Fuzzy Logic, by any chance?
