I'm normally exhausted post the Christmas celebrations and as a consequence don't have much time for new year action!*, but this year, the second year of my thirties, I avoided action! and spent the evening sipping wine with family and a few close family friends. A nice time was had, and a nasty hangover avoided.

*Defined over the last few years as trapsing the streets of Brighton going from shit party to shit party, and visiting the odd nightclub along the way. |
