I'm all scared now.

(Yoda voice) You should be. YOU should be. (End Yoda voice)

Sunday evening blues. Does anyone else get them? Maybe its worse for teachers. There's always grading I'm behind on. There's stuff I need to read. Bleh.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
23:02 / 24.09.06
I'm gonna really piss you off now, alas, for which I am truly sorry. But it's the last night of my shift, so I'm currently in Sunday night euphoria mode.

Never mind. NEXT Sunday night will suck.

alas
23:16 / 24.09.06
Well, actually, that does kind of remind me that "these blues too shall pass"

And i suspect you thoroughly deserve your euphoria. [grandma voice]"I feel a little less blue just thinking of you happy, Stoatie dear. (Sigh.)[/grandma voice]

Three cheers for happy stoat!

I am quite content, but much tired and i have to get up at 7 tomorrow. 7 is a STUPID time to have to wake up.

Who the fuck invented the 9-5 working day?

Bastards.

ahh well.

hi, and good night

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
23:39 / 24.09.06
Aww, thanks alas and .trampetunia, and goodnight to the latter!

Realistically i still have about five hours left in which I could theoretically pick a fight with my boss, but my heart's just not in it.

Had a nice afternoon, too, at the Stokey festival, where I got roped into helping TangoMango and others hit bits of metal for a friend's music project (he'd spent the summer making BIG INSTRUMENTS, so it was cool to get to play them!). Considering I wasn't even planning on going to the festival at all cos I was on night shift, it was all pretty sweet.

good night, .trampet.

keggers? you up somewhere up north?

alas
23:41 / 24.09.06
cool, Stoats. (obviously my last was a cross post.)

I think Sunday evening is just made for lazy chatting. So I always feel basically deprived when I have to do anything. Particularly grading. Ah well.

Saint Keggers
23:51 / 24.09.06
Hi Alas! I must have heard you calling my name.
I have an an aunt, one cousin, and two friends who are all teachers so I know how horrible sunday nights are. Espcially nearing report card time. My sympathy.

Keggers! Hellooo!

Sekhmet

I am bored, I thought; perhaps I shall get Shifty.

And so it was...

Saint Keggers
00:04 / 25.09.06
Hiya Stoaster!

How big were those BIG instruments?

Sekhmet
00:05 / 25.09.06
Er, that was by way of saying "hi everybody". Sorry, I'm socially impaired right now.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
00:06 / 25.09.06
HYOOOGE!

There was what looked like the inside of a piano, an enormous glockenspiel a few feet along, one of those things you make out of plastic tubing and play with tennis rackets, and lots of bits of metal to hit. Oh, and a miked-up bathtub with guitar strings stretched across it.

Hi Sekhmet!

Saint Keggers
00:08 / 25.09.06
Hi Sekhmet!

-Soats, Sounds like insane amounts of fun. Did you get pics?

Sekhmet
00:09 / 25.09.06
Hi Stoatie.

The Big Instruments sound awesome. I think that would also be a great name for a band.

Saint Keggers
00:14 / 25.09.06
I now want to make big instruments.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
00:15 / 25.09.06
Didn't, unfortunately- TangoMango usually gets photos of these kind of things, but he was one of the main musicians (I was just joining in, really) so couldn't.

SEKHMET!!!!!

How ya doin'?

Saint Keggers
00:21 / 25.09.06
When you said that, my mind pictured the keyboard scene from "BIG"

Liger Null
00:22 / 25.09.06
Hello also Keggers, Stoats and Alas:)

Saint Keggers
00:23 / 25.09.06
Hey Ligger! How's things?

Sekhmet
00:24 / 25.09.06
Hey there, Liger, Liger, burning bright! What's up, pussycat?

... And so did I, Keggers. Stoatie dancing on a giant piano keyboard. Yes.

Saint Keggers
00:28 / 25.09.06
I now have Tom Jones singing "What's New Pussycat?" running through my head.

Sekhmet
00:32 / 25.09.06
Terribly sorry...

Liger Null
00:33 / 25.09.06
I had "the Boy with a Thorn in his Side" running through my head all day.

Damn happy thread...

Saint Keggers
00:34 / 25.09.06

Liger Null
00:37 / 25.09.06

Sekhmet
00:40 / 25.09.06
I will watch that just as soon as everyone around me finishes whistling "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" for some reason which remains obscure to me as of yet.

I really need to find some normal friends.

Liger Null
00:41 / 25.09.06
Arrrgggg!!!! Foiled Again!!!!

Sekhmet
00:43 / 25.09.06
You would have gotten away with it, too, if hadn't been for us meddling kids.
