The Boredoms - London, 29th May 2006

Mon Oncle Ignatius

The ever so heavy Boredoms touch down in London at Shepherd's Bush Empire on Monday 29th May. A critical mass of psychedelic density could well be achieved - so who is going to be there? I'll be meeting up with Seth at sometime to be determined beforehand.

If you live in London and aren't going to this then you're not my friend.

Buy a ticket. From an outlet or a tout. This is going to be something truly special.

I'll be up as early as I can. Let's meet up.

Me!

And me too!

Boredoms are actually quite good, aren't they?

That was great

They're so fucking sharp. I'd like to hear a live recording and see if it matches the mania.

And Seth, you talked to the support afterward right? Andrew Tucker? He's defintely free for Do Dirt?

Yeah, he's up for it.

He mentioned that he gets a lot of fan worship on Myspace from a bloke called Flyboy. You don't suppose that's our Flyboy, do you?

I like his beard, and his cathedrals of sonic beauty.

Those cathederals of sound he was making were very nice, and suited a support slot with Boredoms just right.

There might have to be a bidding war to get Alexander for the Drones Club as well - I mean, just how much more droney can one man and his effects pedals be?

The Boredoms were great too - I haven't checked the pictures yet but should hopefully have some OK shots of Eye in dreaded action.
