Revolting Cocks - Cocked And Loaded

And it's like they've never been away. When 'Fire Engine' kicks in, ha-YUGE riff, sampled sirens and handclaps and all, I magically become eighteen again. Delirious, sweaty dance music for leatherclad chainsmoking speedfreaks wearing cowboy hats and permashades. Every listen makes me love it more.

I can't believe this is the first thread about it (I checked and checked again in utter bafflement) - it was released over a week ago! Stoatman, I am VERY disappointed in you.

Indeed it is rather grand. Some storming songs, especially the terribly un-PC final track.

My only real criticism is the volume of Jello on the record. I mean, I like Lard, but I'd like Revco to sound less like them.

They are also touring with Ministry, but US only unfortunately. (UK dates Ministry only.)

Well, that sucks. Still, Ministry are always worth a crack...

Bumperty-bump.

Just read on a Ministry news site that Chris Connelly has a book coming out about his time in Revco. Amazon page doesn't mention much about it but I guess some people might be interested.

I thought the new album was pretty good but the Amazon reviews seam to disagree. What did people here think of it?
