Where is Weevil?
He`s long gone
Where is Boboss?
He`s taken him along
But they haven`t put their mittens on
And there`s fifteen feet of pure white snow...

It snowed on the mountain behind my appartment for the first time in about five or six years. Everybody flocked to see the Great Snud* of '06, the local news sent reporters. I went up with the family to frolic, but there was barely enough snow to make a few anemic snowballs for my daughter.

*snud = snow + mud

Earlier tonight: biggest snowflakes I've ever seen- the biggest were probably an inch and a half wide- and fucking thunder and lightning, which I didn't think was possible when it was snowing. Fortunately it's warmed up a bit since then, and some of the snow's melting, which means that the area will continue to not live up to its reputation as wintry hellhole, which is a nice change given that, two years ago, it snowed every day for a month.

I dislike snow simply because of how much we usually get here, but snow + thunder + lightning = 100% awesome.

It snowed and settled here last night! The lovely boy was breathless with excitement this morning. I just took the dog for a walk in the park and threw snowballs at trees. It was much fun.
