Newsvine

I've received some invites I can distribute to folks wishing to give Newsvine a try. PM me if you'd like one.

I've been playing around with Newsvine for a few weeks now, and my reaction has been mixed. I still can't find a method of filtering the thinly-veiled opinion pieces written by users from links to stories from better-established news sources. Other than that, however, I'm warming up to it.

Anyone else having a go?

I dunno. I have a membership and it got annoying pretty fast. Newsvine is like, too much work.

I'd agree with that criticism, too. I still haven't really grasped the logic of the system, or the ways in which all the parts fit together. I can almost do too much with it. And it is, then, a lot of work.
