Those magnetic strips are incredibly tiny! In Berlin, we don´t have that at all, you just enter the subway, that´s all.

Now to be on topic:
Some years ago, there was this joke craze, where people were inventing insults for men who were not manly/macho enough; they are self-explanatory:

Schattenparker (parks his car in the shade)
Flaschenöffnerbenutzer (uses bottle opener instead of teeth)
Elvis imitator
Warmduscher (showers with warm water)

Yes, those are not very funny, but I´ve forgotten all the really funny ones, of course.

You can find 2.000 of them here.

I love this one:

F'oxx l-iskarpan li gibdek!

This means: Fuck the shoemaker that assisted your delivery!

Sorry, zenfroglet, but I just can't get that word to make any sense. I've tried saying to out loud, but I can't for the life of me match it to anything in my vocabulary.

Are you sure those girls were not really aliens in disguise?

Yes, that´s the age, when I was readin King, too. So, if your german is based on his style, you´d sound like a stupid teenager. :D

He doesn´t use any weird or difficult words and can be read fluently. The catch to it is: you´d put people into a mild trance, when you talk like he writes. His prose has that effect.

On topic:

Ökoschlunze (Person with extreme environmental issues)
Bagage (french for suitcase, bag, but used often here for rabble)
Fellfresse (bearded person)
Affenarsch mit Ohren (monkey´s arse with ears)

Heh, LykeX, maybe they were, it was only one of them that said that word (she pronounced it phuutkaneesta), her friends were a little confused by the word. Mm, they did joke about her being rougher than them. :-) Then again maybe she was just having some fun.
