This is the newest project of a chinese artist called Zhan Wang. It´s supposed to be the London Skyline. It´s entirely made from cooking tools. And it´s the first time he´s built an European skyline. I found another pic on the net, where it´s supposed to be Chicago.

I did not post this in the art forum, because I´m interested in the curiosity of it, not in the artistic aspect.

And I´d like to hear from the London (or Chicago) Barbeloids, if they can recognize their beloved city in these pots and kettles.

That's fantastic, Mist. But I can't get my bearings on the London one. Got any more pics? Links?

He´ll be part of a London exhibition in the Hayward Gallery, starting 6th oct 2005. more info

A short text about him and his work here.

Two sources of pics of his work here and here.

I couldn´t find more of these city landscapes. He seems to mostly make steel stones, that look like car crashes.

Two photos I shot today on a prominent street in the city center.

What are they doing with that poor little dog? It´s supposed to jump joyfully on the pavement, barking happily at passing people, marking its territory and generally be merry.

Just look at its little tongue hanging out. It was 20° celsius, must be warm and uncomfortable in that bag. Hello lady, that´s a dog, not a kangaroo!

But it looked so silly I just had to take these pictures.

[and notice the girl wondering what that creep is taking pictures for?]

Watch out for the Atari Gang.

Aaaw, I like this baby. Just marvelous, I have seen all kind of photoshops with him.

Here´s another funky baby pic.
