Help me I think Shatners new albums OK, well the covers at least.

You can hear the Common People cover here. So over the top it could be genius...

Much like a fungus, it's grown on me. Shatner's voice makes for interesting juxtaposition with the other artists contributing. And there's a core of dark feelings in there which, once you get past the humour and 'wtf' emotions this album ellicits, makes you pause and consider quite a range of issues. Well, at least it made me do that.

I listened to it once...and it creeped me out. I know its a cover and all,but...sigh, it isnt Jarvis.
Strange thing is, I still see an image of Shatner in the st uniform, season 1-sh...singing it, arms flailing.....oh gawd its gotten even creepier!

I went from horror to amusement to a kind of acceptance and was just getting used to it and starting to think "Hey, this isn't so bad".

Then the childrens choir joined in and now I just don't know. I have no idea whether I've just listened to something brilliant or something awful.

I liked the album. I mean, it's Shatner, dammit. How can you NOT love it?

Ah, the children's choir. That gives me an idea.

wait for it...

William Shatner NEEDS to (or rather, the planet NEEDS William Shatner to) do an album with Jim Steinman. If I won the Lottery, I'd pay for such a thing to occur.
