A decade of the Invisibles

I was nineteen, about to turn twenty, and a month away from being sacked from one of the worst jobs I have ever had - not that the job was bad, just the management. After that I got stinking job after stinking job.

I loved the book when it first came out, really really into it (even had a little Invisibles badge), drifted off of it after a couple of years (drifted off of comics in general around this time) but always flicked through the odd trade or issue here and there.

I was a miserable shit, smoking and drinking too much, never sleeping and generally just pissed off.

What a difference a decade makes...
