Oh, this is looking nice! Plenty of people to get embarassingly drunk with. I thought everyone had disappeared.

As to where - I was tempted to demand people come to a local in Stokey, which is plenty big enough and sells excellent beer very, very cheaply, but I know some of you don't like the whole bus thing, so I'll think again. The Pillars of Hercules is very nice and central, although it might involve climbing over tables to talk to people. I have reluctantly decided against the Black Cap in Camden - I've had some incredibly tacky times there, but a gay pub is probably inappropriate?

Hmm. It seems rather selfish to head for N16. I'm going on a fact finding mission to The Hobgoblin on Monday - which is very near a tube station and also within staggering distance of the magical 253 bus route, so should suit all. It, too, sells marvellous beer, reasonably priced, and plays decent music.

The Black Cap, in contrast, sells rubbishy lager at phenomenal prices and plays shite. The possiblity of running into the woman with the Martina Navratilova tattoo, who grabbed my arse because it was her birthday and she thought she could, may just not be enough to get me back there.

And Camden on a Sunday is rammed full of Jawa children in hooded Marilyn Manson shirts and baggy jeans.
