It's been a great trip to the mainland so far, got to see my brain twin and discuss film, comics, and writing. He even pitched his next project (once his current project is finished and in the can) with intention of me being involved in the scripting of burst fiction to correspond to certain parts.
Also went to a somewhat disappointing exhibit at the art gallery, focused on comics, manga, anime, and video games. I walked away inspired with a fresh story idea which was wicked, but I didn't agree with all the curator's choices and I don't see the point of a non-interactive gaming exhibit put together by non-gamers.
But a fresh idea! That I'm all drunk with excitement over!
Plus, I had dinner with another old friend without his rude & annoying partner being there. |
