Haus, am I PC? It's a brand I've never heard of, Inovix, but it's testing out fine. It was a out of the box insert batteries hit record type of thing.

I haven't tested it out much, I've only played videos back through the recorder itself or hooked up to a 32" widescreen TV, which isn't really an accurate test picture quality. Sound quality is brilliant, though.

I think it records to .mp4.

I'm just really looking forward to having recording equipment in my hjands 24/7. It itsn't going to produce anything that I can actually use, but it's going to help pre-production stuff so much.

And given past form for Ikea staff Christmas presents they'll be flooding Ebay in a week or so.

The Accomplice has moved! A new place & beginning for him at the start of the new year! Possible recovery from familial strife and despair!

Plus, his place is only a twenty minute walk from my place, which makes things far easier from a logistical perspective, and we can also now stay at my place part of the time.

This might sound really, really, weird but I've just gotten back from the hospital, where my Grandma's dying soon. She was diagnosed with Motor Nuerone Disease 9 months ago, and fell into a coma during last night, and is now breathing her last and is expected to stop sometime later tonight.

Of course we're all pretty bummed out, but I can't stop being immensely proud of my whole family. Everyone sprang into action and performed maturely and generously, the day's been so hectic with phonecalls and waiting and driving. Everyone dropped everything and made it to the hospital, including my Girlfriend, and my Brother's, even her Daughter who lives three hours drive away made it.

Everytime I've cried it's been because I've been totally overwhelmed with love for all these people, the thought that when my liver gives out in 40 years and I shuffle off, I'll be able to say that I've never missed a Christmas day with my awesome family just makes me want to explode.

Very excited. A good friend of mine who works in radio and was instrumental in setting up Resonance FM has just asked a bunch of us (his mates) whether we'd be interested in putting a radio show together - the more ambitious the better apparently.

God knows how I'd fit this stuff lines into my life, fuck knows whether I'd be any good at it, and crimminy knows whether anything'll come of it anyway, but I have ideas. Lots of ideas.

I got myself a job! (which makes me happy because it's a good job both fun and well payed)

I'm still going to the university to study, but a professor at the University kindly offered me a job to teach web design at the university every friday (and some more design lectures on other days).

I am promised my own office-room, free Adobe CS3 Master collection and more, but also more work when I finished my studies in june.

I have braved the sales and got a super cheap waterproof coat for hiking (still to be seen whether it is actually waterproof) and some other bits and bobs.

We have a new flatmate who is nice according to the others. We're off out later to bond.
