Just introduced her to Hackney Marshes. She fucking loved it, but I had to carry her most of the way home because she was so tired. Now I too am tired, but it's a nice kind of tired.

To expand a bit on that what I meant by surrounds previously was city. Now giving an even greater happy my mate has found a flat about 5mins from me.

It's just my closest friends at the moment are scattered to the four winds. Thus I tend to misremember why I like them so much, the time spent largely incommunicado and the ease of reaqquaintence definitely gives me a happy. You put form to this feeling quite well.
And as far as your self-depreciation (not having ever met you) you seem an agreeable sort although I don't think I'm like you.
