I HEART MOKOK!!!

I should keep up on these Ultimates threads. This is where all the best stuff is being discussed.

My brother loves MODOK so much that his email is ILoveModok. I found the figure on clearance and bought a whole bunch of them to use as little gifts to put on top of presents for the holidays. Everyone loves MODOK! Fun MODOK fact! One of Mark Waid's dream jobs is to write a short MODOK tale called "A Day in the Life of MODOK." It shows MODOK waking up, having the AIM scientists hosing him down while still wearing their crazy yellow outfits, trying to destroy his enemies, going back to bed, etc.

MODOK does rock. But what about Ms MODOK?

When did they make a MODOK toy?

She prefers to be called MODAM (Mobile Organism Designed for Aggressive Maneuvers).

The infamous MODOK figure, with Brain Energy Blasts (basically, a missle in his forehead that pops out when you squeeze his head).

Oh gosh. That MODOK toy is PERFECT!

Wow. I want one.

Not only does it look perfect, but his head is all SQUISHY! It's yucky and way-cool!

Love the Ultimates, but despair of Millar.

Fly is very right: he's not a clever boy.

This week, his argument for Icke's fun, fun, fun extraterrestrials runs thus:

"They're not any weirder than TERRESTRIALS."

Great stuff.

And, much as he couldn't believe ANYTHING could top Unbreakable, it turns out Signs has done it; and now Shyalmalan is his favourite director ever.

We already know Millar doesn't have a lot of time for music, but, sadly, it seems he doesn't have much time for cinema either.

In his most recent column, Millar prattles (again) about Icke, and puts forward the AMAZINGLY persuasive argument that Icke's beliefs aren't so weird when you consider that - HOO HAH! And here it comes! - that terrestrials are pretty weird in themselves (ergo: the Lizards walk among us). Thanks Mark.

And then he explains why Shyamalan is his fave director ever....

Check any of Millar's "arguments" for anything - they're always really crap.

Still, he's a nice bloke and I like his superheroes.

Tarunce.

Millar really is just a guy from down the pub inty?

He's not an intellectual. Or an occultist. Never in a band. And won't ever be lauded by the 'shining ones'.

But his Ulteeze is slappy as Rodice might say and as you say too and that'll do.

I used to diss the Mill when he didn't live up to what I wanted him to be. Then, like Tesco's prize winning stilton (2nd place), I matured and learned to love the lazy Moore-squito, for that is what he is.

Meaning he drinks pints of Alan Moore's blood he extracted during the period 1984-1988.

Canny write a colly for buckfast that bhoy.

Yep, that's why he's not a member of this distinguished comic-book off-spring board, but also why I appointedly read his weekly column at Comicbook Resources. Nice.
