One thing that isn't covered by the summary: are we meant to take the latest post as a 'cue' for our own, or can they be one-off, standalone things, unrelated to what's gone before?

Comments and continuations welcome. The only rule is that you can't edit. What you type stays on the page. You should write as fast as you can without degenerating into total nonsense, and try to hold onto a sense of reality without second guessing yourself. The post took only slightly longer to write than this summary.

Sure, why don't we say that everyone should key off a post or fragment which resonates for them. It could be any of the posts in the thread. If that doesn't work for you and you still want to play, just go right ahead. But it shouldn't matter too much, anyway.
