I like the look of the new board myself. Tho' having said that, a nice border instead of the white would be easier on the eyes- I would go for a pale grey marble myself, but that's just the Goth in me speaking. A muted newspaper-collage thing might work too.

I like the changes, the main reason being that my boss was starting to notice I was on the same site all the time - the new colours actually blend in with the software I use at work so it looks like I'm actually working - great stuff

The first priority on the board from now on is going to be that it's clear and easy to read. The priority directly after that will be that it's cool and hip to look at. At the moment I think I'd be the first to say that it's edging on the dorky...

Could you darken the grey of the body text so it pops out from the grey background more and is easier to read?

I agree with Mordant about the border. Perhaps a color would be nice? Unless you're going for the monochromatic black/grey/white vibe.

oh no! please don't get rid of the white! I really, really like it.

I like how Barbelith feels like a big wide open space (on a sunny day) now due to the color scheme, as opposed to the previous scheme which was like a dark little cell on a rainy day.

I also like how regal the new scheme is...lots of white, with silver and gold...it's like we're the BarbePope now...

I really don't like the white... I found the old grey so calming, so very easy to look at. And the orange looks very dark mustardy, maybe just in contrast with the white...
