On Sky News you can see the Pentagon smoklng.

And there are eye witness reports.

This seems so unreal...

Is there any chance of the World Trade Centre falling over? I imagine they weren't designed to withstand a Boeing straight on.

It seems like whomever has caused this destruction knows they have the attention of the world, but also the largest superpower in the palm of their hands.
With three planes a total shut down of a country, onto which a resession was looming.

I don't think that's going to hold water with the majority of the US. It doesn't cut a great deal of ice with me, and I'm pretty critical of America a lot of the time.

Pentagon wasn't hit by a plane, it was bombed. A helicopter landed right outside, and exploded. The third plane is still unaccounted for.

Capitol Hill and Sears Tower have been evacuated.
