Did you know concrete was invented by the Ancient Romans?
Ah, here comes Haus to correct me.
I need coffee too. And vodka.

I work at The Macaroni Grill, an Italian restaurant, where I take people to thier tables and ignore their requests for a better location. The girls are cute, and they (the restaurant, not the girls) don't ever test for drugs. Hey hey! I love it.

OOOH yeah, Captain Zoom all night long, and all day. Matter of fact, I'm in the comic book store now, jus' lookin' at his amazing heinie!

Other than that split personality, I'm pretty normal. 5'8", short copper hair, blue eyes, 123 lbs. looking for the ultimate answer to the ultimate question... What will I be when I grow up?

Though you sound like yer a little bit of alright!

(editted to say this was in reference to Reason's post, though I've nothing against Moominstoat or cheese)

This thread is starting to remind me of a surreal, condensed version of the Diva Blue Room. And I think concrete really *was* invented by the ancient Romans. I can mix concrete by hand (well, with a spade or summat) very efficiently...

I'm 32, just killing time til I get off work, and--much like concrete--I was invented by the ancient romans....

I just had to choose between two job offers. One was with an insurance company. The other was with a decorative painting studio. The insurance company paid more. I chose the studio.

God I hope I did the right thing.

Hi. my name is mike, and I'm a Virgo. My birthday is really September the 11th, and I'm 25. I live in sunny Auckland, New Zealand, that which we lovingly call 'dorkland'.
I'm five foot nine, and I have a full head of dark brown hair and dark green eyes. Right now, I'm wearing a blue shirt and some shorts. No shoes. I hardly ever wear shoes.
I like sleeping, eating, writing, air hockey, Gorillaz, Black Grape, the White Stripes, brie, cooking, politics and getting stoned.
I don't like Radiohead, onions, Ian Duncan Smith or the Flintstones.
I think skater punks and boys with long hair are sexy.
Here are some New Zealand bands you should try and find on MP3, while I think of it, since saying "I like these" in a music list wouldn't be very useful if you never heard of them: Sommerset, Marystaple, Slim, Headless Chickens, Elemeno P, Darktower and the Chills.
I think you should have a nice day.

I'm Deva (which is an anagram of Dave). I am a small mousy/ginger bureaucrat for the Revolution, and in no sense a dark empress of fascism. I teach, type, and theorize for a living, and write Blake's 7 slash for everything else.

I am thirty-five and married, with three children and a successful career as a lawyer... oh, hang on, no I'm not. Ignore that bit.

When I lived in France I kept putting off visits to the hairdresser. I thought there might be some misunderstandings due to my woeful command of the language. Potential for a cross-cultural hair disaster. Then I just did it and it was ok. Oh, and I learned that sideburns are 'pattes'. Which was nice.
