I saw it. Think it's getting better by the week, actually. Although the reincarnation joke is being stretched a little, I fear.
However, my girfriend laughed her socks off all the way through it, and she has very exacting standards when it comes to comedy. She won't even laught at tvgohome.

I tried, really I did, but turned off after about five minutes. I think the "minicab of the dead" skit did for me, because it felt like the recontextualisation of a comic cliche on the assumption that this would in itself make it fresh.

And it's not fucking pronounced "Sharon".

Mature and sensible response! Mature! Because sensible! Sensible! Because mature! Brooking no argument - no argument to brook!

Sorry, didn't realise we had to love not only your bits but also the rest of it with a flaming passion. I thought it was hackneyed to represent a minicab driver as a shifty, ignorant foreigner and then go "But look! In a river!". And then make it a running joke. Forgive me.

Sorry, I meant to put an all powerful smiley face after that, thus turning it into a witty ironic response. Damn.
Anyway, I have one of those ´deliberately confrontational´ fiction suits. They´re all the rage...

Sleazenation has ruined this thread by not having an "8" in his member number.

Missed the start of it, so probably didn't get half the running jokes, but what I saw was kinda fun. I kinda liked the twists on the reincarnation joke....

[annoying] Oh, UVT, check PM's [/annoying]

Whereas I seem to have an unintentionally confrontatinal fiction suit. I was just cleaning it and it went off.

I derailed my own thread. Fuck.
Sometimes on the rare occasions I post Haus promotes me to sudden Web-Tourettes´. I´d apologise to him but he already knows I was sorry long before I pressed the Add Reply button.

It was all worthwhile for the bit where, to illustrate how evil the rich city types are, they have two little green aliens in boxing gloves and with helmets that make them punch each other when the city peeps push the buttons... hard to describe, like all the bets visual gags.

I love the mercilessness(nessness) of the show..it does not only bite, but it holds on and rend a bit.....the worst and beautiful
part is that I know what Bob Monkhouse looks like......and does a gaming show on daytime.....`i, My name is Josh...´this is going to end ugly....very ugly...can´t wait for Serge The Seal to show up again.....

I've discovered (no, really, this is true) that if I unplug both my TV aerial and video that I get pick up BBC2 pretty well .. how weird is that?

So anyway, that means I could see Mr.Hell last night.

Yeah, all the royalty stuff was a bit .. old hat.

My favourite bit was the octopus who worked in a cheese packing plant, but best not dwell on that, I always find that kind of silly Goon Show-esque stuff amusing..

Serge the Seal seemed a pretty cool character, though I think some of the internal logic of the story may have gone over my head as I missed previous episodes.. any plans for further adventures? he should get his own video game..

And the opening titles really amused me too.
