|So, we're on episode two now, of Ed Brubaker's Angel of Death, with the promise of an episode every weekday until it's done. I'm not sold on it, but I like that the episodes are fairy short, move at a nice clip, and are basically unashamedly by the numbers. Competent television with some occasional visual flair. Unlike so many comic-book-y movie/tv things, I like the paneling here. It opens visual/static pacing up inside the temporal pacing in an interesting way. Shoulders seem unusually prominent, which I like but isn't really a major point for anyone else, I'm sure.|
Who else is watching? Anybody?
