Team Brick

I will be playing drums for my dear sweet Team Brick on Friday 21/11/08 at the George Tavern in London.

It's always hard to know what to expect with Brick, but it'll probably be a mix of cod-Derek Baileyisms, hard gabba, improvised hymns, pure noise, throat singing and maybe some clarinet or accordian. In any order, but possibly unlike any of the above. And you'll probably enjoy it a lot more than that description makes out, he's quite well know for being the noisy bastard who appeals to non-noisy bastards.

I will be hitting things. Some made of metal, some wood, some plastic. It will be my job to keep up.

Please do come. It won't be the same without you.

If it wasn't so god damned far... the Atlantic Ocean is really wide.

It's in my diary! I may even bring non-Lith friends who are sufficiently lunatic to be liable to enjoy it too.

> Tsuga, wide, schmide, it will not be the same without you, make sure you're there or you'll letting us all down very badly.

I will try and come along. Assuming, of course, that you'll be punishing yourself on stage

On which subject, what do you make of Fucked Up, the band? It's just that it strikes me the singer's nicked your look, a bit.

I recently messaged them to let them know that I am going to claim that we are one and the same for the free publicity it might bring.

This is the George Tavern which is down a very short alleyway about halfway between London Bridge station and Borough tube stations? Closer to London Bridge but possibly easier to find from Borough if you don't know it?

Nah, wrong side of the river mate. You're thinking of the George, while actually you'll want this one.

You can give me a re-up on your personal deets, because apparently they had become useless and wrong, in my brane, by about Planet Organic.

Good good boys. Would anyone mind manning the lens for us and taking some snaps? Up close and personal, as many as is humanly possible?

Yeah, my cold and a hideously long week had an epic win friday night. I hope you knocked 'em dead, though!

It was pretty great, yeah. There's a recording of it that I have yet to edit, although whether it sees the light of day is up to Brick. Photos were taken, I haven't peeked them for usability yet though.

The show was particularly notable for an appearance from Rizla (on a purely blast-from-the-past-level). Turns out he's on the Plan B boards these days and came along after chatting to Brick.
