Oh, how the baby lateshift has grown! Water it just a little bit and it sprouts.

I have an italics disorder.

I italicize heavily when I'm drunk on wine, as I am, having spent the evening with the Accomplice, watching Hellboy, eating nachos, drinking wine, and playing with a very large cat.

There's fresh Superman out on Wednesday, which makes me happy -- that'll get me through the next week, as I have to dress up as Clark Kent (I've never felt so Jimmy Olsen) and participate in team-building union morale boosting events that I'm helping to develop and coordinate when who knows how people are feeling and whether they won't just hate us, hate us, hate us. Yes: drama.

I'm waiting for a bloody news video to load, with coverage of the rallies held at the central branch of the library to advocate for an end to the lock-out. It's taking forever. I've had so many problems with this one little video and it's making my stress level rise...

Ice cream? I wish I had some. And motivation, maybe.

I just wrote a way-too-long e-mail to someone about how it's just polite - if nothing else - to refer to someone by the pronouns and gender they prefer, and then there was a crash and I realized it was probably better not sent, anyway.

So, instead, I'm eating a Moon Pie and making a fresh pot of coffee.

Moon Pies go well with ice cream, I'm told.

There is this ice cream shop near my house. They are THE ice cream shop. I have the remainder of a pint of lemon-anise and cinnamon ice cream in my freezer that is AMAZING.

I will not eat it tonight, but think loving thoughts at it instead.
