I have no actual, real life friends who would anywhere-near enjoy a night of Merzbow, so I'm wondering if any of you motley types would want to meet up and make an evening of it? I fear London so company would be much appreciated.
I have, as yet, no travel plans. I may take train or may be able to blag a lift. It take place 5 days before my dissertation is due in, so common sense might win me over on this. All of which is to say; this is a tentative optioning at the moment and is not final.
Oh. Odd - I just noticed that Mono was logged into Barbelith on my computer while ze was round installing Linux on hir laptop. I'll be there if at all possible.

As for afterwards... I don't know anything about London - what time does the tube run til? When do trains go til? The place i'm staying is in... erm... non-central (i forget to get specifics further than 'London'), so my options may be limited to either heading off for the last train near the end of the gig, or staying out all night and getting an early one.
I'll ask my friend about transport details and such, but does anyone have any plans or anything for afterwards? Care to show an innocent northerner around the hotspots and joyful jaunts of London Night?
I've just received the date of my final exam and it's sat rather annoyingly on the 21st - the Monday following this gig...
It's a seen exam, so I'm going to see if I can put that weekend away, but considering I'll be needing to work on my dissertation too, things aren't looking great.
Ah, shame. it was a great gig, quite beat-heavy and skull-crushingly loud (though I believe my ears are a bit damaged, because it didn't sound loud enpough to me. I was assured it was).
