Little Rock Records, the sponsors of my radio show and home of my band, are giving away some free shit. It's all pretty good, and it is totally free.

Clearly their seasonal generosity is half ploy, as they want you to know who they are and to love them as though they were a friend, but hey. Free stuff is free stuff, and as it's also quite good, I figured I should share.
I've put it here in conversation because it seems a bit spammy for music. Apologies if it seems too spammy even for here.

But free stuff!
No signups, no mad crazy data mining, just good, honest pages of MP3s of music that you can have forever (and ever)!

Maybe you too have some free stuff you want to share? Feel free! I know I did!

Big Winterval Link Poster!

The Little Rock Records site has all the freebies you need, but here are some record sleeves that link to the specific pages:

More MP3s, this time from a band called Lapsus Linguae, who some of you may already know. They've played with Hunting Lodge, for one.
I've been jonesing pretty badly for their live show for a while now, hoping they'll finally get themselves out of the studio and show us the much speculated upon 'new shit'. Until then, I have the old records. They're getting older each day, making me yearn.

But if you don't have any? What then?

Why, then here's a sample.

Nothing really sounds like they do, so it seems pointless to say anymore.

More free stuff!

I love MP3 blogs(fluxblog being a well known one one round these parts), and my friend just alerted me to his. He's been touring the states for a bit and so he hasn't updated it in a while, but there's still some goodness to be had.
He's a busy dude, with three different prooduction projects on the go at the moment, but I reckon(hope?) he'll get back to it.

His blog is called Vampire Vultures.

Because I'm too lazy to try to sell it on ebay, and because I'm going on a different night, I'm offering a single ticket for The Masque of the Red Death . It's valid for Wednesday 9th April at 7.45pm.

It is, I'm told, not to be missed.

Speaking of free shit, I have a Sony amp - not the kind out of which music comes when you plug it into an electric guitar (that was what I THOUGHT it was) but the kind that sits on your stereo and has a graphic equaliser. It's probably a good piece of kit and looks quite new. ANyone want it? Oval/Camberwell.
