Well, chaos isn't random - it just has the appearance of randomness. Chaotic systems are deterministic - no random occurence takes place - and thus ultimately predictable, if one has enough information about the first activities in the system and the effects thereof.
Chaos in the Erisian sense is not strictly speaking a chaotic system, because it is not sensitive to minor variations in the initial circumstances. Whether one reads the Principia Discordia on a plane, on train, on the plain in Spain, in the rain or while in pain, the system's output - Monty Python quotes, mainly - remains constant. |
