Actually, looking at the content of that link, what seemed like misguided but harmless lolz and gigglez now starts to look like anti-intellectual trolling. Given Blithe stated in this thread on his/her college magazine that he/she is a sixth-form student, and hence at most 18 years old, I think it might be a bit more appropriate to react as Nolte did, with a gentle prod in the right direction, rather than sweariness and accusations of anti-intellectual trolling.

This is actually a place where the Barbe-nice thing might work quite well. Blithe has apparently put a thread in the wrong place - Head Shop rather than Conversation. That's a simple mistake, and easily corrected.

That said, now we are in the Convo, this seems to read like a sort of digest of lots of humorous mass emails. Am I missing the funny?

No; Uncyclopedia, which I'd rather not link to, is fucking dreadful, but something I too might have found amusing when I had a sense of hum...ah, when I was younger and rather more easily entertained.
