I read that as 'vegeburger papers' and it really gave me a twitch in the brain. Of course, you don't just smoke the rolling papers. You'd need some burger in there to inhale.

Templechurch because I couldn't remember if the guy who draws Warren Ellis's Fell is named Templesmith (yes) or Churchsmith (no). I'm thinking this is going to be the front desk clerk at the hotel in the story.

Templechurch, by virtue of the name alone, should be a recurring character, Papers. Across many stories.

Unfortunately, in my bourbonified state, I would probably be inclined to write them as Kevin Kline in Pirates of Penzance, a bit more gaunt, with dialogue in a Dashiell Hammet style. Do better than that, please, and let mine remain an obsolete latenight fancy.

Not mine, I spent two and a half weeks living on it. It belongs to the Italian navy. But I just spend three weeks living on a smaller ship, a brigantine in LA, which you would be welcome on at any time.
