Oh, Saveloy, that's a shame! If you're sure, there's no problem dropping out, but it's sad, nonetheless.

If you're dropping out then I have no problem with Triple-M joining up - shouldn't be an issue.

FINKLESTEIN!
20:33 / 13.06.07
(pssst, don't forget Sibelian!)

are we having extra peeps and no space?

XK
21:51 / 13.06.07
Let me make that a more useful statement, if someone would like my slot I will bag out. I've been pretty greedy getting these mixes.

MattShepherd: LARGELY ABSENT!
21:53 / 13.06.07
Aye, but you've also been crankin' em' out. Having seem the labour (and postage! Oy!) involved, I figger you deserve 'em.

Sorted, by the way. FTPed up a few minutes ago.

Please don't leave me behind, Daddy, I promise to be good.

No no, you're not left behind.

I'm not sure how to technically sort this out - I'm thinking that either Madame takes the reserve spot and Sibelian moves up to the main team.

Previously, I was thinking Madame takes Saveloy's spot and Sibelian remains reserve, but that was because my brain wasn't quite wiring right.

Realistically, the reserve is going to end up involved anyways, so I think scenario (a) is the way forward if you, Sibelian, don't mind stepping up to the plate and playing with the big boys, and you, Madame, don't mind being the Reserve-who'll-most-likely-be-involved anyways.

Bear with me, it's been a long day with some idiotic train journeys and a lack of impetus; I trust this makes sense.

Also, "daddy"? Ew...

I don't mind letting my space go to somebody who really wants the space. Sibelian can have mine if ze would it. I've been part of two mixes in as many months and probably should let somebody else take a shot at it. Besides, creatively, I'm not in a particularly productive place right now. It's the summer, it just frazzles my brain and turns me into a barely functional sack of meat.

Good luck with the mix everyone!

If ze would like it rather. See- Brainsplat.

MattShepherd: LARGELY ABSENT!
02:08 / 14.06.07
If it helps, my songs are under and just over 3 minutes, and if a few others submit short'uns we should be okay with all 17.

XK
21:25 / 14.06.07
I sent mine on over. Thanks for doing the mix Feverfew!

Ok. I have received totally songs from A Franker Nolte and Chiropteran. I'm listening to one of them now, and, well, it gives me a happy.

I've received partials from Madfigs and XK, in that they're in transit, I believe, they just haven't arrived yet.

I'll come back to this tomorrow for a more definitive update.

Stoatie. Stoatie? STOATIE.
00:41 / 15.06.07
I should be able to get mine in at the weekend, hopefully.

Talas
01:05 / 15.06.07
I've sent mine off to you!

Mon Oncle Ignatius
01:08 / 15.06.07
Two tracks uploaded to the server!

(prev. Feverfew)
23:53 / 15.06.07
Ok. This FTP business is designed to concurrently be incredibly convenient and genially confuse me all at once.

I now have tracks uploaded there from

A Franker Nolte

Groovin' Madfigs

high school big shot

Mattshepherd

Mike Modular

Ognarud Suitangi-Ognajd

Talas the half a bee

And songs emailed by Chiropteran.

To those who tried to email and were rebuffed, my apologies. I have no idea what's going on there.

To those who have had to put up with me saying "It's not showing on the ftp!" I also apologise. That was just a passing fad, not to be repeated.

However, if you're name's not on the above list and you think you've sent things across, let me know, and Things Can Be Sorted Out.

A Franker Nolte
XK
Chiropteran
Talas the half a bee
Ognarud-ognarud ognajd
Mike Modular
MattShepherd
High School Big Shot
and Groovin' Madfigs.

Which is good.

This means I'm awaiting with baited breath tracks from:

Pacific State Is

Mike Modular
.trampetunia.
The O RLY owl's samophlange
Chiropteran

Madame Miriam Mooncat

Brief reminder PMs will be going out today. After today I'm going to be most probably massively busy until Friday, but I will be checking in and out fairly regularly.

Bollocks.

The astute among you may note that Mike Modular is on both lists. This is because he's 'special'.

rizla mission and Kali, however, were not on either, where they should be. This was not intentional.

PMs have been sent, etc, so, well, there!

Chiropteran
00:25 / 19.06.07
(I'm on both lists? I suppose I could send more tracks...?)

You're just as special as Mike.

This teaches me, somewhat, for doing things in a hurry.

Sibelian 2.0

I've ended up with 3 choices for Torpor.

I'm assuming that we like to keep the surprise factor so, folks:

Does you want long (10 min)and obsure, or short and pretty well-known, or completely unknown, about 5 minutes and, um... written by me?

Chiropteran
14:58 / 19.06.07
Written by you. Definitely.

Sibelian 2.0
15:29 / 19.06.07

Done!

I now have ten, with more to follow. There have been gentle reminders, also. Soon there will be nudging.

This weekend, promise! Won't have remotely speedy internet access 'til then.

Sibelian 2.0
10:16 / 22.06.07

I have "ftp"ed 2. But I can't find that damn track I did that I wanted to use for Torpor! Please don't finalise until I've found it! However, I have put another Torpor choice in...

Stoatie. Stoatie? STOATIE.
15:03 / 23.06.07
ARGH!!! Can't find my first two choices- hopefully Durango will be able to find HIS copies cos I know he's got them. Otherwise I'll send you my second choices, but they're not as good.

Jellyllama

Gonna FTP 'em tonight, when my astonishing 56k connection works a little bit faster.

K.

I'm going to ruffle through tomorrow and find out what I have, and don't have, then post a proper update.

However, I would like to set an arbritrary deadline in that I would like tracks in by next Thursday, June 28th, at the latest. More nudge-y reminders will go out, most likely tomorrow, but I'd like to get on with making the compilations by the end of next week.

So, skates, get them on, groove thang, get it on, metal, put the pedal to, etc.

Currently uploading my scorch track. I hope it's close enough to theme. It's a piece of music that's quite fast, dances like the surface of the sun and burns enthusiastically. I think it works. In my head it does, at least.

My torpor track, unfortunately, doesn't want to upload for some reason, so I must find another.

Stoatie. Stoatie? STOATIE.
02:13 / 25.06.07
Can do tomorrow, or Tuesday at the latest.

Olulabelle
14:12 / 26.06.07
I'm on it too.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to properly update - will do so tomorrow, but currently as it stands I believe I have twelve poster's song combos in, and three promised.

I understand Pacific State's possibly not going to be able to participate due to internet troubles, but the window's still open until technically tomorrow. Llamas, would you mind checking your ftp? I'm only getting one file showing, and it doesn't seem to be a musical one, or it may be incomplete.

Stoatie and Madame, I believe I've sent on email addresses but I'm aware they're having issues accepting song files, so let me know when you've tried to send them and I can co-ordinate something.

As for Kali, I have no idea. But such is life.
