How do we feel about this? Happy? Sad? Angry? Or something else altogether?

He's clearly just copying George...

Happy! Congratulations to the Bearded One! Can you imagine what the service will be like?

Happy too, apart from the fact that I might have liked to marry him...

According to Neil Gaiman he may wear a blue bowler hat. I think he should.

Isn't anyone going to insult his wife?

This forum's not what it used to be.

The Great God GuM would be very disappointed in us all.

Didn't you hear? GuM's connection got closed down. He has no idea what we're up to!

Yeah! For all he knows, we could ALL be marrying Alan Moore!

(I hear tell Albert once beat George fairly comprehensively at swingball. Hence the animosity that continues to this very day. I also hear George was cheating at the time, but clearly not as well as he could have been. SHHH.).

I'm not sure I can endorse a group marriage with AuM. I mean what sort of rights do we get with each other? Think of the children!

Oh well, I suppose John Byrne's still single, right?

At least I shudder to think of the scenes at the dinner table if he isn't.

Kieron Dwyer; for a while John Byrne's stepson. True fact. He didn't find it an entirely positive experience.

When's Sim getting hitched again?

...oh yeah...

I read that as Keiron Dyer - the oft-injured Newcastle United midfielder. Which would have made a great sitcom.

I read it as Fred Dryer, but that happens a lot.

Mazel tov, Alan!

When's Sim getting hitched again?

This summer, actually.

I'm very happy about it, of course I am! But all I seem to have been doing lately, here in the cabin, is losing at chess, and then trying to explain myself. Losing at chess, and then having to to try and explain myself. I suppose I didn't really mind it when I was just being tied up.

Well, I wasn't getting any younger, back in the city. Which is so superficial.

And things will be better after the ceremony, won't they?

To be fair, they hadn't tied the knot a few days ago. Now you all have no excuse.

This event and that wardrobe is, I think, shaping up to be the best piece of work Moore has done, yet. It almost entirely puts the memory of reading Watchmen out of mind. When's that new LoeG, then? Will it come boxed with that headgear on top of the fold-outs, 3D, and album?

And as one of the three people it seems on the internet-comics-forum-related planet who really likes Gebbie's stuff, all the settling down being happy together stuff is fine, but that it means steady raise in profile, even if not based on the merits or selling points of the art, is still beneficial to those of us who might want to pay to read stories told by that art.

Oh ... my ... God ...

It rather puts Jordan and Peter Andre's pink fairytale spectacle into perspective, doesn't it?

McKean? Nahhhh. But expect Eddie Campbell to produce a comics version of the vows, as he's done with other of Mistah Moore's performance pieces.
