This event and that wardrobe is, I think, shaping up to be the best piece of work Moore has done, yet. It almost entirely puts the memory of reading Watchmen out of mind. When's that new LoeG, then? Will it come boxed with that headgear on top of the fold-outs, 3D, and album?
And as one of the three people it seems on the internet-comics-forum-related planet who really likes Gebbie's stuff, all the settling down being happy together stuff is fine, but that it means steady raise in profile, even if not based on the merits or selling points of the art, is still beneficial to those of us who might want to pay to read stories told by that art. |
