Could you perhaps post a bit more explanation about your hope for this thread, its intended purpose, the direction you see it taking, etc.? I'm still among the (increasingly smaller) part of the world population that does not play WoW, so I'm finding this thread slightly obtuse.

Suppose I should've expanded a bit more. The general hope was to have a place to discuss armor and build set ups apart from the main thread, but it doesn't look like there's any great desire for that to be by itself. So, main thread, I suppose.

I'd be inclined to let Nico try to get some discussion going, if ze's of a mind to. It's not a bad idea for a thread, and I'd do it myself were it not for the fact that all my equipment is shit.

I do, and I'll give it a shot tomorrow night. Got too caught up watching Lost and starting what I'm guessing is the quest line to be able to get a nether drake flying mount tonight...

And then... life happened. Heh.

Anyway. Working with the above build, I have discovered that I suck something fierce at the 2v2 Arena pvp. I had assumed that spell crit + and spell dmg + would be enough to win the day, but apparently not... and I don't think it's so much a lack of skill (though there certainly is some of that) as it is me lacking in stats somewhere. The problem is, being 70 now, I can't exactly go back and pick up all those quest reward pieces of armor that would've probably worked better for pvp and to which I said "Meh. Give me SPELL DAMAGE."

Any ideas? Solutions? Stats I seem to be severely lacking in?

Don't know a whole lot about druids, but your gear seems ok - What's the problem? Die too quick? Not enough damage?

Who is your partner? It seems to be that your gear wouldn't benefit from you feral speccing if they are not a tank.

I don't know how useful healing is in 2v2 - whilst healing a partner, you're losing out on damaging the enemy. Try your spec in 5v5 where you may be bought more time to heal effectively by your team mates and your damage isn't missed.

You can definitely deal out the punishment but your defense stats are kind of lacking. You've no block or resilience at all. Not familiar enough with druids though to say whether feral spec would help that.

If it helps at all Nico, this is the profile of one of the druids I know. And he is a hard-hittin' mofo.

Thanks to the armory, I've been using other people's profiles to compare and experiment with my own toon build. You learn a lot.
