©opyleft are playing at the halt bar on woodlands road on friday the 26th of january.
they are a four(sometimes more) piece band, playing live hip hop, and i reckon they are pretty good.

i'm not sure who else is on the bill just yet, but you do get a discount for the art school if you attend.
considering the gig is free to attend, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me.

i think there's another free gig by the same guys, copyleft and underling, in the forest cafe in edinburgh on the 9th. apparently the entertainment features several 'chemical poets' before the bands get going, and i'm hoping that means there'll be an even bigger 'everyone up and MC' moment than the last one. i mean, surely..?

i guess i could start another thread about it, but i don't know if i'll make it over to edinburgh for it yet. seems a bit cheeky to get folks excited about a gig i won't go to, hey. money and time is against me at the moment, but once i sort that shit out i might be able to get through.

migh tbe a good excuse, the needed excuse, to get my fat ass through to the bonny 'burgh.
