|Bamba, how actually do you do that? Can you really differentiate between the use of the word privately, used in a sexual and loving way, and the use of the word as a really abusive term for someone you can't stand? For me the two states are completely alien to one another and so using the word in an abusive way is the complete antithesis of what it actually means and stands for. |
That's one of the reasons I don't like it as an abusive term. The other is that I hate the fact that the worst thing you can call another human being, the most derogatory thing you can say is the name for the most lady of ladyparts. I know a lot of people use it all the time and they seem to be able to separate the two meanings, but I just can't separate the two things in my brain. I don't know why.
About breasts, well I like all the words for breasts. I like tits and boobs and the word breasts itself and jugs and, well, just everything. I don't even mind breasticles if I hear that because it's funny in a kind of Simon Pegg kind of way.
But. Once I went out with a man whose father (that's father) called breasts 'drinks'.
That is wrong on so many levels, I can't even begin...
