I'm still recovering. The evening at the pub somehow turned into a mammoth 36-hour booze and drugs bender. I eventually got to bed at about two this morning (well, I'd gone to bed for a couple of hours in the afternoon, but had been incapable of sleep). I feel a bit shit now, but nowhere near as shit as I probably should...

Thanks everyone for coming out- that was a wicked birthday! I no longer feel quite so bad about being old.

That was, once again, a cracking birthday drink up. But the horror - I have someone else's tobacco! I have no idea how this happened but it is quite a large packet of Drum gold and quite full. This makes it significantly different to my quite small, quite empty packet. It also appears to have been purchased outside the UK (don't have it with me but seem to recall you're gonna die warnings in another language).

Person who owns this tobacco - I am deeply sorry and recognise what a pisser it must have been that it went missing. If you contact me, or Stoatie, I am happy to make reparation either in tobacco or cash form. Forgive me, I knew not what I had done.

Great seeing lots of people though!

I have to say, it's one of my favourite pictures of me ever. Usually I look like a cock. Only rarely do I see a picture of myself that makes me think "yeah, I'd go for a beer with THAT guy".
