You Canadians are so old-fashioned. Here in Texas we just use a good horse tranquilizer for our 'guests' so that we can relax a little. I hear tasers are coming back in vogue among polite society though, so we'll see how things change in the next year or so.

'Horse tranquilizers'? We stop using those back in 1847. Nowadays, at the minimum, its moose/cariboo tranks. Polar bear trank are more of the norm here and they do have some nice side effects.

Okay, so I'm almost certain I'm coming, and I will drive if there are others in the New England area who need a ride. Otherwise I plan on flying in.

Any takers can PM me or just ask right here. It's looking like four people tops, three if we need the back driver's-side seat for luggage. Also depends on what car I'm driving at the time (I'm on the hunt right now, in the other browser tab) so conditions may change.

It is not impossible for me, but it sure would be better if I can tie up some things before the meet. It would work better, but I do not want to put anyone out. I can proceed as planned, but if it is okay for others, the date change would be cool.

I also wanted to make certain that there was plenty of time for changes, as I would not want to spring this on you lovely people before then.

Let me know, and no panic.

Uhm, okay. TOPY gig...That should have another thread. This is a thread about a Barbe meet in MOntreal for people in North America.


The current dates for that meet are from Wednesday May 30th to June 5th, I believe.

If it is really an inconvenience and too short notice to change the date to the end of June, thenI understand. As this is not an emergency, but a matter of convenience and I certainly would not want to put anyone out because of that.

I have variables up in the air here. If (and that is a big ol' giant IF) I get accepted into a program I'm applying for, I'll be in Jaipur(!) the last week of June (and all of July, and part of August [did I mention "!"]).

However, I am but one 'lither, and one who already has far too many travel plans this summer (there is also a trip to NYC in the planning stages), so don't let my possible absence prevent a needed date shift.
