I would advise you to consider how you would feel about your employers at your day job, your collegues and your relatives (male and female) might react.

Not that you should feel bound by their opinions necessarily, but these are the people who you have relationships with and these relationships will probably be affected by your choice of second career. Are you planning on telling people outright? Or are you just hopping that no-one you know decides to log on to your site? Have you thought about how best to ensure your safety from any of your fans that might get obsessive?

There's a whole thread on this in the Head Shop. The short version is that there isn't a straight line division, but rather allocation is affected by many different factors in the creator and the viewer.

I have been too busy this weekend to think about sex. Believe it or not, I've been locked in a mind-loop, trying to figure out which Doctor incarnation is the coolest (Why, o why, must Doc-Nine leave us???). Plus, I've been breeding some flu viruses, and it's hard to think about sex when your throat is so sored you can barely swallow (pun intended). Well, I haven't led a secret double life as a fetish model for ages, but a tip would be: don't tell your friends, and especially don't tell friends whose reaction to the hypothetical was negative, because they will tell other people. If you already have, make sure that they are sworn to secrecy. It probably won't work, but at least you can get good and pissed off when they tell their friends. If you haven't told them where you're going to do thus, don't. If they bring it up, you might want to wave your hand in the air and make some comment about the crazy ideas you get when you're short on the rent, or something to that effect.

Kali, I wish you the best of luck in this endeavour, but I think what I'd say (and what would probably summarise most of Haus's posts quite neatly too, though it may not- I'm pissed, and also quite blatantly not Haus)- and bear in mind, this is not a phrase I use often- would be "What Flyboy said" way back on page 1.

Sounds like a great idea, but... you might wanna at least consider the idea of being a bit, y'know, "careful" about the whole thing.
