Maybe the kiwi is a master of the wudang arts. Remember how at the end of the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Jen jumps down from the monastery into the mist of the chasm? We know she has mastered mysterious martial arts, so we can assume that she does not fall to her death. And the kiwi might know the same secrets!
