Yeah, OK - should I rewrite the application response? The major problem with the applications at the moment is that the checking takes time - someone with a work or university email address can be passed almost immediately, and sent to Tom in a regular update...
To be honest, at this point, I'm tempted to let almost anyone who takes the time to apply and is not clearly on our excluded list in - but we probably need to work out how to freeze/ban people at moderator level, and the board has repeatedly demonstrated that it is basically incapable of doing that, so we may be stuck like this for a while... |
