I posted it here, since both writers are better known for their comics work, but mods feel free to put in into the books forum, if you think thatīs more appropriate, since itīs about a novel.

Who would have thought? After all those rumours, that these two guys are more in a competitive mood towards each other, they now surprise their readers by working as a team.
"I was really fed up with Neil Gaimanīs success as a novelist", says Grant Morrison, "so I called up Alan, and he was up for it." "As long as they donīt turn it into a movie again", said Alan chuckling. "Yes, Grant and me bounced a lot of nice ideas at each other during that talk, and our publishers are already quite excited."
The buzz is, itīs going to be in the same vein as Gaimanīs and Pratchettīs book Good Omens but with a magical twist. "That worked very good for our graphic novels, so we expect to finally be recognized by the serious critics, too" says Moore. "After all, Grant and me got a 30 years of magical experience between us."
So far, there was no reaction from Neil Gaiman, a longtime colleague of his fellow British comics collaborateurs. |
