It's alright to be a drunken lech when robots in disguise are involved. Their positronic brains don't have feelings, just poor mockeries of human emotions.

Or maybe I'm just rationalizing because it's Whiskey Night here and several robots have already been offended.

If a robot was around me right now I'd totally go all Magnus, Robot Fighter on it. Not on my watch, you bastards!

I always wondered why no one ever told Magnus to put some pants on. As if in the future no one finds a pantsless man destroying robots with his bare hands strange or offensive (except for the robots, I imagine. But we've already established them as soulless abominations).

Maybe he didn't want to get motor oil on his trousers. Did you ever think of that? Maybe Magnus had to go to a SOIREE after beatin' on mindless mecha-men from Mars.

Would you rate the live show better than the TV series, Legba?

I've heard people say that the live show is best. But people also say that the radio shows were better than the TV shows (which is just plain wrong, besides the one example of Vince's Monkey's Stole My Face song). Any Bainbridge in the live show?

The live show was much more energetic, sparky and sweary- Vince can be a really unhinged boy bitch.

No Bainbridge, but a fair helping of various Rich Fulcher/Bob Fossil avatars. Fossil's more of a dangerous maverick without Bainbridge to keep him under the harsh colonial-explorer thumb. The "Dreadlock Holiday" dance is in full effect.

My girlfriend and I saw the Boosh at Cardiff and discovered that we are the oldest, uncoolest people in the entire Boosh-lovin' world, as 90% of the rest of the audience consisted of lithe, spangly, moptopped peacock androgynous youths and maidens in their very best glam-electro finery. As old-school indie "wearing the coats of dead old men" non-fashionistas, we felt positively shown up. What happened to the comedy audiences of days gone by, clothed purely in subcutaneous fat, denim and lager?

I gave the Boosh pudding last year. They were signing at a bookshop near my work location, and while killing time waiting for the event, I saw them having some dinner at a cafe I quite like. So I purchased a chocolate pudding and put it on their table with a couple of spoons, and Julian Barratt said 'Oh! Thank you very much!' and I ran away into the night.
I hope this wasn't a Bad Thing.

I could have replied 'No need to thank me, pretty lady - just kiss my balls...' but I didn't, which may count for something in the INSANE STALKY FANWANK court in the hereafter.

AHAHAHHAAA!!!

I SAW THEM!!!!

I JUST SEEN THEM!!!!

I NOW HAVE THE SAME TSHIRT THAT VINCE IS WEARING IN LEGBA'S PHOTO!!!

the capitals say it all.

oddly, i went to the aftershow party for the show a week or two back (is your photo from the Jabez Clegg aftershow legba?) to see robots in disguise play. I'd hardly seen any boosh tv stuff and was a mere fool, so hadnt gone to see the show.

was nice to see vince at the aftershow. i think nearly everyone was there to see him. felt a bit sorry for the band really...

but after enough raving by everyone ever, and having a bit of a binge on the tv and radio stuff, i went I WENT AND SAW IT!!!

I have been saved.

hell yeah.

and i'm madly in love with Vince moon now. His smile. His clothes. His hair. The way he calls manchester a bitch.

*Swoon*

Yup, that's from the aftershow.

I hope you weren't the big scouse man who pushed in front of me and stopped me from getting things signed by Vince!

Now why didnt that photo link work? Do strange things need to be done with flickr to make them show vince?

Nah. not scouse, me mate. I made the foolish choice of leaving soon after the band finished. Apparently vince was chatting to people. NOOOO!
