What's the stamina regen time? Seems pretty short so far, perhaps one stamina point to three or four minutes.

Reloading the casino (as well as overbetting) still works for me; the only difference between now and last night that I see is that the cards don't cache now, so your old cards don't show up any more. I'm running Firefox, though, if that makes a difference (shouldn't if the server side is truly fixed).

The casino seems to have changed now - the minimum bid is 3s and the maximum bid is now truly £1.

Also, I have a note and an artifact to take to the Peruvian Public Library, except nothing happens when I get there, which is irritating me. Do I have to be a scholar, I wonder...

I'm currently trying to complete the Mnar stone quest; I have all eight pieces, but not the quest, and I get the feeling that I'm stuck in Egypt now until I make enough money to leave. Which isn't so bad, really.

God, I wish i had time for online RPG, but, between my last year at college, work, kung fu and the gym, I'm already sleeping 4 to 5 hours a day.

I think something can happen to you that gives you the appearance of a shoggoth, but it may only be temporary.

You could always be EVIL! and become a cultist - but, speaking of which, apparently there's a quest that ends with the choice of GOOD! or EVIL! and, well, has anyone else come across it?

Or, in fact, is anyone still playing? It's had a remarkably short turnover time, as far as I can tell, mostly because it's more or less a work-in-progress, but I'm still enjoying it enough to keep coming back.

I'm still playing, though I was without internet access for a week and that rather threw me off; I did, however, manage to get fifteen quests done in my first thirty or so hours playing. (I blame obsessiveness, the casino, and cheap transportation!)

At the moment I am wandering about Pitcairn Island finishing up the Talisman of Keph quest and wondering what to do with all these bloody penguin nests and my poor shovel. Oh well, I suppose if I just visit them all, I'll figure it out.

Might I recommend a guiding codex for the newly initiated (and confused)? Not all quests are covered therein, of course, but that ought to have enough information to get you started.

Also, if you ever happen upon Pitcairn Island in your travels, beware of the penguins. You might try visiting them in clockwise, not anti-clockwise, order... Not that I'm bitter, mind.

That said, welcome, and try not to get killed by the rampaging hordes of monsters.

Which is quite comic considering half the time it's red ants or poisonous toads.
