There are programs you can use... they are on my old PC, which I think is dead, but a google search for something like "dupe remover" may be a good place to start.
Otherwise, you could do a Windows search for the file ending .mpg or .wma, arrange it alphabetically and then delete the duplicates. Time-consuming, but not as time-consuming - most of the time is leaving the computer to get on with it. In my experience, this takes an evening or so of fairly solid graft - you'll get fixated, so don't do it any day when you have to get up early. |
