I had visions of the place being packed on a Sunday afternoon
I have been to the Golden Lion fairly often, more often than I'd care to tell, and in the Golden Lion, it is fair to say, I think, though I don't want to ruin their business or anything, or, paradoxically, do anything much to encourage it either, that... well let's put it this way, you can always get a table.
And they have Mexican beer there!
It is, in many ways, a very great pub. |
