I shall be drinking to celebrate the day of my birth some 67 or 68 years ago this Thursday at the Princess Louise, 208 High Holborn from 7ish.

I'll be the one clutching the small of my back as i slowly make my way sidways down the stairs to the toilet every 10 minutes or so.

I might make this, but oh, god, the last time I went to birthday drink-up at the PL, I only planned to go for one drink to say hello and I found myself getting home at after 5 in the morning after going on to one of those dodgy Spanish bars in Hanway Street, drinking an entire litre of red wine by myself, and losing two hours somewhere else along the way...

So I might not.

Well, i've seemed to have picked up some sort of chicken flu today so i may have to duck out of my own birthday drink if i'm not feeling any better by tommorow. Wuss that i am.

And i've tried the wee bag thing but i just picked up groups of small children following me around and prodding it with sticks.
